During our road trip earlier this summer, Jason and the elevator channel found an older self serve car wash outside of Rockford IL. Given its age, the facility was in surprisingly good shape. And the automatic bay still ran like a champ. I believe it's an older Monorail system that had a used PDQ dryer fitted to it later in life. Very similar to the traditional L-Arm monorails, however, the key differences are • Programming for dryers (different times/appearance of it) • Wash cycle • Spray Arch • Spray arch design • Sprayer design • Sprayer patterns • Lack of a pool noodle This system did a decent job, surprisingly, as it was clearly made for SUVs. This is Monorail's LAST RUNNING version of this system.

The spot free rinse leaves spots and the jets were up and down on pressure.

Do NOT go here. The prices for the wash on the button showed 3, 4, and 5 dollar options. I chose a 5 dollar car wash on 2 different occasions and both times I was charged 10 dollars. No 10 dollar option was even offered. False advertising.
